Our luxury suites have king-size bed, bathroom with bath and shower, under floor heating in the bathroom and bed rooms, tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar area. All rooms have a TV and DVD player. There is also a double suite with wheelchair access and specially adapted bathroom. Despite its luxurious atmosphere, and emphasis on quality, Fordoun’s rates are surprisingly competitive in relation to similar hydros elsewhere.

These 3 deluxe suites have a view of our lawns and dam. The rooms have a king-size bed, dressing room area, bathroom with bath and shower, under floor heating in the bathroom and bedrooms, private balconies, tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar area. All rooms have a TV and DVD player.

Superior Mountain View Suites 
These are our new rooms which are individual units with majestic views of the Drakensberg. Each unit has a king-size bed, separate lounge area, TV and DVD, gas fireplace, dressing room area, under floor heated bathroom with bath as well as indoor and outdoor showers, private balconies with loungers, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar area, as well as wireless internet.

Self Catering 
The new Fordoun Farm Village is built with the purpose of tapping into the Agri Tourism, leisure and Wedding market. With panoramic views of the Drakensberg, in a tranquil country setting giving the feeling of relaxation and romance is almost tangible with 8 luxurious self-catering chalets providing ample accommodation for 30 guests.

Skye Bistro is a fine dining restaurant set in the heart of the exquisite KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. From beautiful log burning fires in the winter evenings to watching the sunset from the veranda over the rolling lawns of Fordoun; Skye Bistro is the perfect place to have a relaxing sumptuous meal. The Fordoun conference centre in Nottingham Road is situated in the heart of the exquisite KwaZulu-Natal Midlands yet conveniently accessed from the N3 highway that links Johannesburg and Durban. The conference centre caters for up to forty delegates, with quality equipment on hand and all the resources and facilities of the Fordoun Spa and Skye Restaurant nearby. WEDDING VENUE IN NOTTINGHAM ROAD

Our stunning new venue and chapel are ideal for an elegant stylish country wedding accommodating up to 200 guests.   The newly renovated barn situated at the Fordoun Farm Village with breathtaking views of the majestic Drakensburg Mountains, is equipped with a kitchen, reception, a serving area, lounge, two bars, a dance area, stage fireplace and toilets.

The venue hire fee includes tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware, table setting and preparation of hall according to your choice, co-ordinator on your wedding day, waiters, ice, barmen and the bridal suite for one night.

The venue hire fee does not include catering, decor, flowers, alcohol, DJ and photographers, guest accommodation (there is space for 44 guests in the Hotel and 30 guests in the Self-Catering Chalets). Read More.
